STATEMENT OF FELLOWSHIP

Calvary Chapel Stroudsburg has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the Power of the Holy Spirit.  We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of Christ.  Our beliefs are not founded on the creeds and traditions of man, but solely on the principles of the Word of God.  We are committed to praying for revivial in the hearts of God's people, and for His grace to impact our communities for eternity.  We desire to worship God in Spirit and Truth, and to make that worship a lifestyle that touches every area of our lives, spilling over into all our relationships, neighborhoods and surrounding communities.
